Smoking Cessation and the PCT
In the last year the PCT doubled the number of quitters through pharmacy Pharmacy provides an easilyaccessible service and can match local languages and cultures A good way to ‘train’ pharmacy in preparation for PBC as skills transferable for new way of working

Delivering Local Objectives
Targetgroups – can pharmacies provide counselling in languages that help target populations with high smoking rates? Accessibility – pharmacies offer convenience (opening hours and geography) Capacity – banon smoking in public places will create surge in demand
